Both events to be held on 22 – 23 September 2021 at Millbrook Cenex, the organiser of the annual Low Carbon Vehicle (Cenex-LCV) and Connected Automated Mobility (Cenex-CAM) events, has announced that both events will be taking place on 22nd and 23rd September 2021 at Millbrook in Bedfordshire. This years’ events are due to take place virtually on 18th and 19th November, due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19. The online event format will offer an effective means of engaging UK and international audiences with low carbon and connected automated mobility themes.
Robert Evans, CEO of Cenex, says, “We are looking forward to being back at Millbrook next year. With governments across the globe pushing forward Net Zero agendas and the banning of new fossil fuel vehicles, now is the time to help speed up the development and rollout of zero emission connected and automated vehicles. The LCV and CAM events provide fantastic platforms to showcase new and cutting-edge technologies, and debate challenges and opportunities for these ever-growing sectors. The emerging industry in the UK, served by these events, can play an important role in getting Britain back to business and supporting a green recovery, and we look forward to hosting them at Millbrook’s state of the art venue once again next year.”
Connor McCormack, President of Millbrook, says “We are delighted to once again be hosting Cenex-LCV and Cenex-CAM in September 2021. At Millbrook we are continually upgrading and investing in our facilities to support the automotive and transport sectors. This includes testing and developing advanced propulsion technologies, connected and autonomous vehicle systems, and intelligent transport solutions. Both Cenex events are a fantastic opportunity to catapult a post-COVID-19 green recovery, and we look forward to supporting and assisting in making both events a great success.”
